Baccarat is one of the easiest casino games to pick up, yet it is full of strategy and excitement. At digi999, every round moves quickly — usually wrapping up in under 60 seconds.
The main objective is to predict whether the Banker or Player hand will come closest to a total of 9. You can also bet on a Tie if you believe both hands will finish with the same value.
Track previous round outcome patterns with the digi999 live scoreboards — B = Banker, P = Player, T = Tie.
Digi999 offers a wide range of baccarat variations — from the classic format to more exciting modern versions.
The most popular version worldwide and at digi999 Malaysia. Simple rules, fair odds and quick outcomes make it the top choice for both new and experienced players.
The dealer slowly reveals the cards — the suspenseful "squeeze" moment makes every round feel more dramatic. A firm favourite among digi999 baccarat players who love the authentic casino atmosphere.
Each round wraps up in just 27 seconds. Built for digi999 players who want faster action and more rounds in less time.
No 5% commission is charged on Banker wins — full 1:1 payout. A firm favourite among digi999 players who regularly bet on Banker for better RTP.

Get to grips with the basics before you start — baccarat is far simpler than you might think.
Ace is worth 1 point. Cards 2–9 are worth their face value. 10, J, Q and K are each worth 0 points. When the total exceeds 9, only the last digit counts (e.g. 15 = 5).
If either hand (Banker or Player) receives two cards totalling 8 or 9, it is called a "Natural" and the round ends immediately. No third card is drawn in a Natural Win.
If the Player hand totals 0–5, the Player draws a third card. The rules governing whether the Banker draws a third card are more complex and depend on both the Banker's hand value and the Player's third card — all of this is handled automatically at digi999.
If the final totals of the Banker and Player hands are equal, the result is a Tie. Banker and Player bets are returned in full, while Tie bets pay out at 8:1.
A 5% commission is charged by the casino on winning Banker bets, reflecting the Banker's slightly higher statistical edge. At digi999's No Commission tables, this commission is waived entirely.
Beyond Banker, Player and Tie, digi999 offers side bets such as Pair — wagering on whether the first two cards dealt to the Banker or Player form a matching pair — giving you more ways to win in a single round.
Baccarat is largely a game of chance, but a smart approach can help you play longer and enjoy the experience more.
Statistically, the Banker bet carries the lowest house edge at 1.06%. Even with the 5% commission, it remains the best bet in baccarat. Experienced baccarat players at digi999 tend to stick with a consistent Banker strategy.
While the Tie payout at digi999 is a tempting 8:1, a house edge of 14.4% means it comes up far less often. Savvy players treat it as an occasional side bet for variety, not as a core strategy.
The digi999 real-time scoreboard displays outcome patterns from previous rounds. Many players use "streak" patterns as a guide — but keep in mind that every round is independent and unaffected by the results before it.
Before sitting down at a digi999 table, set a loss limit you are comfortable with and a realistic winning target. Once you hit either, take a break. Discipline is the key to an enjoyable and responsible gaming experience.
If you're short on time, digi999's Speed Baccarat tables let you fit more rounds into a shorter session — perfect for a packed and enjoyable 15–30 minute play session.
Digi999's deposit bonus of up to 200% and weekly cashback give you extra funds to use at the baccarat tables. Take advantage of these bonuses to explore tables that typically carry higher minimums — without putting your own money at additional risk.
Baccarat has long been woven into Asian casino culture, and Malaysia is no exception. At digi999, we bring you a truly authentic baccarat table experience — not just a digital game that feels artificial, but a live table with real dealers streamed in high-definition video from world-class casino studios.
What sets digi999 apart from a Malaysian player's perspective is our understanding of how Malaysians actually play baccarat. We know that many players follow the "road" — the outcome patterns displayed on our real-time scoreboards. That is why every digi999 table comes equipped with comprehensive Big Road, Bead Road and Derived Road scoreboards, just like what you would find at a physical casino.
Dealers at digi999's baccarat tables are trained professionals able to communicate in multiple languages, including Malay and English. This makes the experience far more comfortable and welcoming for Malaysian players who may not feel at ease at international casino tables that operate entirely in another language.
Digi999 also ensures that all baccarat rounds are independently audited for fairness. Card decks are changed at regular intervals and the dealing process is streamed live with no manipulation. Game fairness certificates can be viewed directly in your digi999 account for every session you play — a level of transparency rarely offered on other platforms.
On the payments front, digi999 supports all the deposit methods Malaysians use daily — Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, and FPX online banking including Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. With a minimum deposit as low as RM10, you can start playing baccarat at digi999 without committing a large upfront amount.
Baccarat winnings withdrawals at digi999 are processed quickly — within 15 minutes for e-wallets and up to one hour for bank transfers. digi999 VIP members enjoy prioritised withdrawal processing, and Diamond members can withdraw with no daily limit. This is digi999's commitment that every ringgit you win is entirely yours.
For new players who have never tried baccarat, digi999 offers a practice mode at select tables where you can get familiar with the game at no financial risk. It's the ideal way to understand the flow of play, the third card rules and how to read the scoreboards before wagering real money.
